The ocean's waves crash along the shore
Its foam kisses gently the damp sand
The salty spray is tiny tongues
Dancing along your cheeks and hands.
The song of the ocean reaches your ears
And the hands of the ocean wrap around your feet.
It's cold caress gives you chills,
And you swallow the breath of the sea.

My Year's Epitaph (School Assignment)
It was a bird that caught my eye,
Fluttering fast, free and happy.
Dips and turns and flips, it made,
Aerial maneuvers, never stopping
It bent and twist,
It changed and cried
It cawed and chirped
It was about to die.
It had gone through trials of stress,
Tribulations to dethrone a king
And now finally the retched year
Has killed the poor thing
But this is time,
The thing that shatters mountains,
The anomaly that kills kings,
Not even the freest are free of its hands
The bird falls, and falls, and falls,
Into the hands of antiquity
No longer a driving force,
Though it passed unremarkably
The once free bird, once flying,
Now lies dead in t
Angels fly among the gods
Beholding the sun and light
They soar across their eyes - formed odds,
Splicing beauty in the sky
Free are they of entrapment
Entrapment of human stress
Their smiles are happy, the best,
Their disposition is unbent
The sky is their easel
Their path their canvas
And as their wings escape evil,
They paint joy above us
They look down and smile
"Soon," they call to us,
"Soon you will spread the dust,
"And take to the air and never tire."

A Metaphor for Societal Morality
Thy soul doth surge
Its holy mass alit
Thy shied from scourge
A call of lost, "it"
Thy king doth say
"Listen to me, lest fall,
"Thy mind's lines fray
"To blasphemy and drawl."
Think for thyself
And break free from those binds.
Their words a twelfth
Of your mind and its kind
For the stars all shine
In these eyes of mine.
My heart's beats do quick.
It reaches to them
Like a spine or stem,
But my eyes away do flick
They've caught in the ire
Of an impure desire
Like a flame on a candles wick
They engulf the concept
Of the new except
Fallen for an impure's trick
With the night comes my soul. It is black with little variance. My sins plague me and render me unholy, unworthy. Who would want such a tainted boy? Not even the sun wants me, for when my soul rears itself, it shies away.
With the day rises my joy. It is naught, with little substance. Reality plagues my mind and renders life hopeless. Why would I lie to myself? Those who smile refuse my existence, for when I appear, they frown.

The Short Adventure of Tiger James
Once upon a time, in a land torn by sadness, there lived a young tiger named James. James lived in a forest called, “The Forest of Sadness.” There, Tiger James was sad. He lived with the other sad inhabitants of The Forest of Sadness in their sad, sad world.
One day, Tiger James and his brother, Tiger Alex, decided to travel outside of The Forest of Sadness. They were nervous, because the other animals in The Forest of Sadness warned them that, while they were sad in their forest, the rest of the world was even more sad, and that it wasn't worth it. They ignored their warnings and entered the rest of the sad world.

Hi! I’m Nick, a male college student majoring in English Literature. I aim to teach it. In the meantime, please enjoy what you may see here. More serious writings will most likely find their way to my WordPress, located below.
So it has come to my attention (actually I reminded myself), that my Google Drive... bank.. stash. whatever contains sexually explicit materials that would probably upset a certain... many people. Cause it's pony. And OCxPonyxTentacle doesn't fly well with most of the fans of the show I know of. So. You know what? Fuck it. I'm posting it. Why am I even here?
